Headlight in Trucking
We woke to a beautiful morning where we were parked at a Love's Truck Stop in Cumberland, West Virginia.
Every Sunday, when we're over the road, we live stream the service of our home church, Covenant Love Church in Fayetteville, NC. Midway through the service, we noticed a truck pull into the parking lot and park their trailer directly across from us. It was a church on wheels that operated under the ministry of "Headlight inTrucking". Amazed, we agreed that we definitely had to talk to them.
Later that afternoon, we made our way to the trailer where we were greeted by a beautiful couple, Mr. & Mrs. Rev. Samuel Rust II. They had such a beautiful spirit and were filled with the love of Jesus! Currently married for 62 years, they were involved with their trucking ministry for 43 years as part of their calling to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to truck drivers over the road! We were so impressed by how they converted their trailer into an actual church with pews and pulpit. We began exchanging testimonies of the faithfulness of our Lord and we had church right there in their trailer. Rev. Rust had so many wonderful testimonies to share. He also had such words of wisdom that he reminded us of Billy Graham.
We laughed, cried, and prayed with them! it was truly an amazing experience that we will forever cherish in our hearts!
